PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Description: 

This seminar will explain the concept of ne bis in idem in criminal proceedings as currently defined by the EU and discuss its practical consequences for criminal law practitioners. Furthermore, the status quo regarding proportionality, necessity and  publicity will be presented and the practical consequences discussed.(introductory).

Target audience: 

Open to judges and prosecutors

All applications must be submitted through the candidates' national EJTN member institution.

Participation:

Upon invitation by EJTN, participants register via EJTN online  platform to which they receive access.
After the event, reimbursement is processed via EJTN online platform.
