The Covid-19 pandemic had a huge impact on citizens' lives and civil litigation. Among other areas, contract law, family law, personal data law, insolvency law and employment law have been greatly affected by the consequences of the health crisis. These decisions involve fundamental rights and constitutional guarantees. The webinar aims to provide an initial analysis of the litigation experienced in different jurisdictions through a comparison of practitioners and academics. A Covid-19 Litigation database will also be presented. Such litigation will have a wide relevance in the coming years and this first webinar aims to open the discussion among judges, lawyers and academics and all legal practitioners interested in the topic.
The webinar will be held online from 15.00 to 18.00h Brussels time.
