Course Description

This seminar will look at best practice and viable alternatives to detention, with a focus on matters such as electronic monitoring and other probationary measures, as well as restorative justice. Framework Decisions 829 and 947 as possible alternatives to the EAW will also be analysed, as will the work and research carried out by the CEP’s Probation Observatory Network and Training (PONT). The seminar will include a prison visit.

YES, EUR 300 for participants coming from outside Romania,  EUR 150 for participants from Romania, upon receipt of the original invoices, tickets and receipts. Participants are asked to arrange their own travel.


Accommodation

YES, EUR 120, upon receipt of the original invoices and receipts. Participants are asked to arrange their own hotel accommodation. No hotel costs will be reimbursed to participants who travel for less than 100 km.
