EJTN had the pleasure to welcome Mrs. Susanne Nord Andersson, senior training administrator at the Swedish Prosecution Authority, within the framework of a study visit at EJTN’s office in Brussels from 4 to 7 December 2017.

Much-lauded visits
This 4-day study visit aimed at providing an in-depth knowledge of activities (programmes, projects and events) implemented by EJTN, exploring opportunities to improve and develop professional skills for the judiciary and fostering enhanced cooperation between EJTN and the Swedish Prosecution Authority.

During the study visit, the activities of EJTN’s Working Groups were presented. Mrs. Andersson also met with representatives of EJTN’s Exchange Programme, Programmes unit and Financial unit and was immersed in EJTN’s daily operations.

Study visits to EJTN have become an established activity over the years. Several EJTN Members’ representatives, including the National Courts Administration of Lithuania, the Judicial Training Institute of Belgium and the National Institute of Justice of Bulgaria, have taken part in these much-lauded visits.

Carefully planned and tailored
EJTN encourages such study visits as these provide great opportunities for both sides to learn and to enhance mutual trust and cooperation. All study visits are carefully planned and tailored to meet specific interests or specialties.

Study visit experiences transfer to the national level a deeper understanding of the variety of EJTN’s training offer, operating framework and practical implementation of its activities, thus bolstering EJTN’s national relationships and visibility.

EJTN was delighted to contribute to the successful implementation of this study visit, attesting to the robust relations between EJTN and its Members that have developed through 17 years of prosperous cooperation.
