The training seminars will introduce an authentic simulation, recreating a real international environment in judicial cooperation, in which European Arrest Warrants (EAW) and Mutual Legal Assistance (MLA) will be issued and executed.
The promising EJTN training model for the European judiciary consolidated in 2011 will be implemented in the field of drugs trafficking and money laundering in Lisbon as well as fraud in the Rome seminar.
Two groups of judges and prosecutors, representing two Member States (Portugal and Slovenia in the Lisbon seminar and Italy and Poland in the Rome seminar) will work together and compare the effectiveness of their legal systems, along with other magistrates from different EU Member States (The Netherlands and France).
The national training institutions from these Member States which are EJTN members have been invited to select their participants (judges and public prosecutors).
