- The Calendar also provides a full picture of EJTN’s rich collection of podcasts, virtual learning and other training resources.
EJTN proudly unveils its new 2018 Calendar of Training Activities, which is a comprehensive overview of the various training options available within EJTN.
EJTN’s and Members’ training activities
The Calendar lists EJTN’s own training activities according to areas. These are activities within the fields of administrative law, criminal law, civil law, human rights and fundamental freedoms, judicial training methods and linguistics. EJTN’s new summer schools training sets, THEMIS events, Catalogue Plus options as well as the Rule of Law seminar are also addressed.
The Calendar further highlights the training activities of EJTN’s Members. For 2018, almost 200 seminars are offered by the judicial institutions as well as those co-financed by the European Union, which are all aimed at European judges and prosecutors. All activities are EU law-related and touch upon the areas of administrative law, civil law, criminal law and international law. Further topics include such as forensics, human rights, judicial skills, linguistics, professional practice, society issues and teaching methods.
Applying made easy!
Apart from EJTN’s and EJTN Members’ activities, the Calendar also features an informative and attractive section on how to apply for EJTN’s training activities as well as EJTN’s Exchange Programme. EJTN offers convenient online portals to facilitate managing applications.
Furthermore, all of EJTN’s training seminars are uploaded to a searchable database on EJTN’s website, which makes searching for training options a cinch.
Podcasts, virtual learning and other training resources
The Calendar also promotes EJTN’s other training resources. One of EJTN’s primary objectives is to facilitate the widest possible dissemination of knowledge and information. For that reason, EJTN continues to invest in the production of podcasts and webinars.
Another resource the Calendar promotes is that of EJTN’s virtual learning module resources. These take the format of self-standing eLearning as well as blended learning options, which successfully combine the best elements of virtual and traditional classroom-based learning.
Finally, as one of EJTN’s recent innovations, the new Methodologies & Resources Database (MRD) brings together the very best of judicial training resources from across Europe. MRD is a centralised collection of searchable judicial training-related resources, which are sourced from EJTN, its Members and other stakeholders.
Copies of the printed “2018 Calendar of Training Activities” have been distributed to EJTN Members to allow them to further disseminate information about EJTN’s rich array of judicial training opportunities.
