The call for applications for the Exchange Programme 2018 is currently open.

This call covers

  • Bilateral exchanges between courts/prosecution offices of the EU MS
  • Study visits at the CJEU, the ECtHR, Eurojust, The Hague Conference on Private International Law and the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA)

    Which activity?

If you are a judge, prosecutor, or judicial trainer of an EU Member State, you can apply for the activities of the Exchange Programme. For more information on the offered activities and the targeted people, please refer to the activities page.

    How to apply?

Except for bilateral exchanges, all applications should be submitted through the Exchange Programme Online Application form by 9 February 2018. To help you through the online application form, please read the Exchange Programme Online Application Form Manual

For bilateral exchanges between courts/prosecution offices of the EU MS, interested courts/prosecutors’ offices are invited to submit a proposal for such an exchange through their national institutions. Please contact your national institution to know more about the application procedure at national level. Deadline for the submission of the project proposal is 26 January 2018.

    How is the selection made?

The selection of participants to the Exchange Programme is the sole prerogative of EJTN’s Member organisations.

The candidates are pre-selected by the Exchange Programme’s participating institutions in each country. The applications of the pre-selected candidates are next transmitted to EJTN which then proceeds to their allocation according to the available places in the participating countries or hosting institutions.
