TRAINING CONTENT AND TARGET AUDIENCE

 

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Description: 

This day-and-a-half training  will comprised three consecutive half-day workshop sessions where participants will analyse practical case studies.

Participants to this event will follow a pre-course online training on the principles and sources of European environmental law and will devote their time in-training to the discussion of practical cases on selected issues in this field: Water Framework Directive, Air Quality Legislation, Waste Management, EU Timber Regulation. All workshop sessions will be led by experienced practitioners and trainers, who will guide the selected judges and prosecutors through the course of their work.

The training will serve as a forum for the exchange of knowledge and best practices between judges and prosecutors from across the EU. 

Target audience: 

Primarily -Intermediate Level for Judges and Prosecutors interested in Environmental Law Matters   

 

Application Process: 

 All applications must be submitted through the candidates' national EJTN member institution

Participation:

Upon invitation by EJTN, participants register via EJTN on-line platform to which they receive access. After the event, reimbursment is processed via EJTN on-line platform.
