Context:
This session will sketch a portrait of adolescents today. A multidisciplinary presentation will allow us to reflect on the view that society today has of its adolescents and on the means put in place to help them accomplish this essential passage to adulthood. Beyond the clichés habitually found in the media, we will examine historic, sociological and psychological aspects of adolescence. Next we will go deeper into questions concerning risky and addictive behaviours as well as the sexuality of adolescents.

Pedagogy:
Presentations by historians, sociologists, psychiatrists, therapists and juvenile judges will be followed by discussions with the participants.
