Course Description

Background:
This course is for French and foreign judges, prosecutors and civil servants charged with the administrative or judicial management of corrupt or similar practices, and their prevention. It aims to raise the awareness of participants and train them in the prevention and suppression of such phenomena.
Participants will be able to access the expertise of the SCPC (French state anti-corruption department) and the technical and legal tools with which this type of offence can be detected, regulated and dealt with.

Contributors:
The course, which tackles both the theoretical and practical aspects of the issue, will include contributions from judges, prosecutors, police officers, academics, senior civil servants and managers from the private sector and NGOs, all of whom have experience and knowledge to share in this field. At the end of the course participants should have a better understanding of the challenges presented by corruption, both in France and internationally.

Level:
Specialisation.
