Context:
This training session seeks to provide criminal justice practitioners with multi-disciplinary knowledge of the realities of contemporary crime, in order to enable them to develop and adapt a specialized judicial approach before, during and after trial. History, sociology, psychology, experience in foreign law and other disciplines will be sought out in order to better understand the basis of the criminal activity, the psychic forces at work during the commission of the act and the perpetrators’ social characteristics. New techniques for investigating and resolving criminal cases will also be presented, as well as a discussion on the specifics of these cases in the public opinion perception of the criminal justice system
