The conference is targeted at judges and public prosecutors from all jurisdictions.
Its aim is to explain the roles of legislation, legal practice and academic legal theory during the Nazi regime and to show how the post-war judiciary dealt with its past and the crimes committed by the Nazis.
There will be lectures, discussions and films as well as excursions (city excursion “the Nazi judiciary in Berlin”, visit to the former concentration camp and the memorial place Oranienburg/Sachsenhausen).
